TIP: With the revision of the SCORING rule for the 2010 season pay particular attention when measuring a bass. The rule reads; A short fish will result in the loss of all fish and disqualification.

The Gator Grip Golden Rule will be the official measuring board. A courtesy bump tub will be provided at all tournaments.
The Missouri Dept of Conservation describes the procedure like this; “Total length is measured from the tip of the snout to the end of the tail, with the fish laid flat on the ruler, with the mouth closed and the tail lobes pressed together.”
