CLOUDY AND COLD AT BULL SHOALS
Cloudy, temps near 40 and drizzle late did not detour the bite. The water temps hovered in the upper 40’s. The teams were fishing a combined tournament of Bull Shoals and Winter Divisions and were eager to get out.
Buck Comstock, Protem, MO and Greg Blair, Bradleyville, MO had a 5 fish limit that weighed 20.33lbs. Stick Baits and Alabama Rigs were working for the team. They fished the upper part of the lake. This earned the team 1st Place.
1st Buck Comstock - Greg Blair
Bobby Comstock, Protem, MO and Tommy Skinner, Protem, MO, brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 19.61lbs. Alabama Rigs were the bait of choice for the team. They also had a 4.65lbs Largemouth that was good enough for 1st Big Bass. The team fished from Lead Hill to Theodosia concentrating on brush piles. Bobby stated they had around 30 keepers. The team is sponsored by Sanders Rock Products, Champion Boats, Mercury and Bull Shoals Boat Dock.
2nd Bobby Comstock - Tommy Skinner
Jason Davidson and Darren Tilly teamed up using Alabama rigs to catch a 5 fish limit that weighed 18.45lbs and a 4.57lbs. kicker good enough to bring home 3rd Place and 2nd Big Bass.
