The 2012 season for Joe Bass Team Trail is under way just 2 short weeks since the Invitational.
Joe Bass wants to take this opportunity to welcome new Bull Shoals Division Sponsor West Plains Marine. Jeff and Sabrina Collins can meet all of your marine needs. The Bull Shoals Division was moved this year to the Buck Creek Boat Dock. With a good breeze blowing and some good cloud cover and temps forecasted for mid-60’s, teams set out with a optimistic view.
Buck Comstock, Protem, MO and Greg Blair, Bradleyville, MO, threw spinner-baits to collect their 5 fish limit of 18.27lbs. The team also weighed the Big Bass of the tournament that hit the scales at 4.96 pounds. Buck and Greg stated they caught fish all day long with several keepers. They concentrated on the windy points.
Terry Lange and Mike Garrison of Thornfield, MO brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 13.41lbs. The team used crankbaits to catch their fish.
Fred Hale, West Plains, Mo and Brian Wilson, Pottersville, Mo, sponsored by Ozark Auto and Marine, had a largemouth that weighed 3.65 good enough for 2nd Big Bass.
