COOLER TEMPS BRING ON A GOOD BITE ON BULL SHOALS
A cold rain and temps in the lower 40’s and falling did not stop the anglers of Joe Bass. The teams went out in a steady rain. The water temps hovered in the low to middle 50’s. Rain gear, spinner baits, and crankbaits were required items.
Bobby Comstock, Protem, MO and Mark Sanders, Ava, MO, brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 19.89lbs. Crankbaits were the bait of choice for the team. They also had a 4.68lbs Largemouth that was good enough for 2nd Big Bass. The team is sponsored by Sanders Rock Products.
1st Bobby Comstock - Greg Blair
Buck Comstock, Protem, MO and Greg Blair, Bradleyville, MO had a 5 fish limit that weighed 16.35lbs. Spinnerbaits and Crankbaits were working for the team. This earned the team 2nd Place.
2nd Buck Comstock - Greg Blair
Brock Moore and Jerry Wood, both of West Plains, MO, had a 5 fish limit that weighed 14.63lb. This is shocking but the team used, you guessed it spinnerbaits and crankbaits to take 3rd Place.

Josh Barnum and Bob Barnum of Ava, MO had the Big Bass of the day that hit the scales at 4.85lbs.
