What a day, June 21st at Grand lake was good for
almost all boats. All but one of the 15 boats
weighed fish. Jerry Strutton and Vinton Goff, both
of Wagoner, OK thought it was a great day as they
came in with the big stringer of the day with a
weight of 17.71 lbs to take home 1st place and the
top side pot winner, for a total $890 cash and
$1000 of Charger gift certificates. They stated
all their fish came off a Jerry Strutton jig. The
fish were very shallow. They are sponsored by
American Eagle Rods and Excaliber Safety Products

Second place for the day with a weight of 17 lbs.
brought in by the team of Jeremy Littlefield and
Jeff Tipton both of Grove, OK. They stated they
flipped worms all day around the brush (LOTS OF
THAT!!!). They also had the big bass of the day
with a weight of 6.43 lbs. |

Jim Clay of Cherryvale, KS had a total weight of
16.89 lbs. Jim fished by himself and had his limit
early. Jim fished using buzzbaits all day.
Jim stated he had one his best and most fun days
