Top the list of 2011 Joe Bass Team Trail Tournament Sponsors
Skeeter Performance Fishing Boats and Yamaha Outboard Engines today announced their selection of the 2011 Joe Bass Team Trail tournament events for exclusive sponsorship within the Midwest. Skeeter, recognized as the leader in bass boat design, quality and innovation is a 60 year old firm that is credited with building the world’s first bass boat. Yamaha Outboard engines gained equally high recognition for development of the V MAX SHO Four Stroke engine, a leader in performance. The selection of the Joe Bass Team Trail for it’s exclusive sponsorship is based on the tournaments growth and popularity over the past three years, and it’s reputation for professionally managed tournament events.
In addition to the Skeeter and Yamaha’s endorsement and sponsorship of Joe Bass for 2011, the companies will offer the 2011 Trails overall champion the added prize of a Skeeter 190 Bass Boat equipped with a Yamaha HPDI 150 hp engine. This is in addition to the thousands of dollars in cash and prizes that will also be awarded during the 2011 events.
The newly announced 2011 Joe Bass tournament schedule will feature 9 Divisions, including events at Table Rock Lake, Pomme De Terre, Stockton, Truman, Grand Lake, including the addition of Mark Twain, and Bull Shoals, plus Winter and Open. 48 tournaments in all to fish for the opportunity to qualify for the annual JOE BASS Team Invitational. Among the reasons for such significant growth of the Joe Bass Trail over the past three seasons has been the low entry fee cost compared to other area tournament trails and benefits which include sponsor provided incentives to earn extra cash, and the Joe Bass policy of not charging a penalty for sign-up at the ramp or late fee.
