LAKE OZARKS ENDS WITH A NIGHT TOURNAMENT
What a beautiful night to fish for twelve hours under
a full moon, with temps in the 80’s a far cry from the
kickoff tournament at Lake of the Ozarks.

Watson

The team of Gary Phelps
and Don Watson, Rolla MO fishing out of a qualifying
Charger Boat, came in with the winning weight of 18.21
lbs to take home $1670.00 plus in cash and
certificates.
They caught there fish using spinnerbaits and tubes.
They stated they caught fish all night. They also
brought in a bass weighing 4.72 llbs good enough for
second big bass. Good job and congratulations to them
not only did they win the last tournament but they
also claimed the Ozarks Division title of champions.

Mike
Sullivan - Eric Tracy
|
The team of Mike Sullivan
and Eric Tracy, St Louis MO came in second using power
worms up around the dam area, with a total weight of
17.44 lbs and the big bass of the tournament that
weighed in at 4.90 lbs. The guys report they had to
fight big water early to get to their fish.

Thanks to all that fished the Lake of the Ozarks
division and just remember we have plenty of
tournaments left to qualify for the championship at
Truman Lake on October 25 & 26, 2008.

Our 2009 Lake of the Ozarks
season kicks off Sunday, Nov 30th, PB2 from 7am-3pm.
Our 2009 season will include new and more sponsors
and new and more incentives.
Rusty Darnell will once again be the Tournament
Director for this division.
