Joe Bass held it's 1st ever event at the Bolivar Landing and after all was said and done it was an enjoyable location. Our Aug 20th and Sep 17th McCarthy Auto Group Pomme events will also be held at the Bolivar Landing.
Terry Bradley and Eddy Bond weighed in a huge summertime sack totaling 20.56 lbs. The limit was anchored by the tournaments 2nd Big Bass of 5.88 lbs.
1st Place – Eddy Bond & Terry Bradley
Rodney Edwards and Billy Hunt take 2nd with a 5 bass limit weighing 15.61 lbs. Their sack also included the tournaments 1st Big Bass, 6.03 lbs. They report fishing in the Lindey arm with Chompers brush jigs at depths of 12-15 ft. Sponsors include Chompers, Table Rock Bait & Tackle, and US Reels.
2nd Place/1st Big Bass Rodney Edwards & Billy Hunt
Randy & Ryan Robinson weigh in 5 totaling 11.93 lbs for 3rd Place. Both report a disappointing start in the river before running to the dam where they finished thei limit on numerous baits including shaky heads, brush hogs and fluttering spoons. Their 5.02 lb bass was caught on a large fluttering spoon on a main lake point near the dam. Sponsors are Mr Paint and Vintage Daisy.
