04/19/08 Pomme De Terre/Lighthouse

With rumors of a tough bite and
tournaments won with just one fish or money
returned because of the lack of a fish JOE BASS
anglers once again proved they are some of the
best anglers in the Midwest. Bookend 6's plus a 7
lb plus were weighed in, no surprise crediting the
caliber and determination of these competitive
anglers.

Father and Son team
Alton and Aaron Hunter, Bonne Terre MO weigh in
bookend 6's plus three more keepers for a final
weight of 19.58 lbs to take first place and second
BIG JOE bass. Aaron reports fishing All Terrain
Tackle jigs with Net Bait trailers in the flooded
brush at depths of 10 - 12 feet in the Lindley
arm. Alton was quick to add that he felt the All
Terrain Tackle jig made the difference for them.
"We had seven keepers today." he said. Alton is
also the highest finishing

Brandon Rummel,
Everton MO and Jesse Tate, Willard MO visit Pomme
for the first time in more than a year but quickly
put together a spinnerbait pattern. We slow rolled
War Eagle spinnerbaits on brushy points. We only
had five bites, reported Brandon. Jessie adds that
they fished the Lindley side at depths of 10 -12

Dennis, Nixa MO weigh in a five fish limit
totaling 13.60 lbs for third place. Their limit
was anchored by an impressive 7.34 lb largemouth.
Both report fishing the Lindley side with jigs. |
