LIMITS ARE PLENTIFUL ON POMME
CHOMPERS products produce top 3 finishes and
big bass!
After a 30 minute fog delay twenty five teams
departed Lighthouse Harbor for a sunny, fun
filled, bass catch'n day on Pomme de Terre where
at days end seventeen limits will be weighed in,
including the largest stringer in JOE BASS
history.

Nathan Poindexter,
Oklahoma City OK and Jason Newberry, Strafford MO
weigh in 5 bass with a weight of 21.12 lbs.
after being penalized .50 lbs for the unfortunate
demise of one bass resulting in a final official
weight of 20.62 lbs capture 1st Place and take
over top spot for the year end $1000.00 EVERHART's
Outdoors heavy stringer! Both report struggling
early. After bouncing around in the Pomme
arm between the dam and 83 Marina finally figuring
out the bite was at 18 feet resulted in catching a
total of 10 keepers on DD-22's and Chompers
football jigs.

Jason Weast,
Camdenton MO and David Mulkey, Hermitage MO weigh
in 5 bass with a total weight of 19.58 lbs for a
strong second place finish. Jason credits his
homemade jig and Chompers trailers for their
catch. Jason also reports their fish came at
depths of 30 - 40 feet in the dam area.

Terry Bradley,
Bolivar MO and Matt Emerson, Choctaw OK fished
peanut butter and jelly colored 3/4 oz Chompers
jigs and Chompers twin tail grubs on the main lake
at depths up to 20 feet for their third place
finish. Culling through numerous keepers for a
final five totaling 19.17 lbs. Terry noted that
the larger Pomme bass have moved to their deeper

Along with 4th Place
Rick Fishback, Fair Grove MO and Shawn Holly,
Council Bluff IA weigh in the tournaments BIG JOE
BASS of 5.73 lbs. Rick reports they had their
first limit by 7:30 am. We fished on the main lake
fishing both shallow and deep with brown and
purple Chompers jigs trailed with Chompers
watermelon candy colored twin tail trailers, said
Rick. Rick's lunker was also reported to have been
caught on this same Chompers jig combination very
early in their day on a main lake flooded bush at
a depth of approximately 2 feet.
