TABLE ROCK STILL HIGH - HOT AND GETTING HOTTER!
Half the field weighs in a limit!

Steve Rider and Chris Journagan, Harrison AR
report a really good day on Table Rock. Both
report fishing DD-22's at depths of 5 - 14 feet
and 12 inch Twiddle tail, strawberry colored
plastic worms. Steve added that when cranking the
deep diving cranks he used a 7 1/2 foot rod and 8
lb line. With their 20.76 lb first place finish
Steve and Chris take the lead for the Everhart's
Heavy Stringer Incentive which if holds up will
reward the team with a $1000.00 cash prize at the
JOE BASS team championship. |
Roger Mathews - Bobby Sullivan
|
Bobby Sullivan, Cape Fair MO and Roger Mathews,
Nixa MO report an excellent day on the Rock. Bobby
and Roger weigh in a 20.71 lb 5 fish limit
anchored by the tournaments 1st BIG JOE BASS of
6.46 lbs for a overall second place finish. Bobby
summarized the day by reporting that they fished
in the James River arm with cranks, jigs and
worms. "The better fish bit after the sun came
out." He adds that they fished at depths of 7 -15
feet and fishing any deeper resulted in just small
fish. Roger reports that his 1st place lunker bit
in 9 foot of water on the outside of a flooded
bush on a Chompers Brush jig. Sponsors;

Aaron Stanphill - Scott Bailey

Aaron Stanphill, Bella Vista AR and Scott Bailey,
Green Forest AR report fishing in the dam to Long
Creek area of Table Rock with DD-22's at depths of
10-15 feet to catch their third place limit
weighing 19.41 lbs. |

Wayne Fowler was the tournaments highest finishing
Charger Boats owner,
Wayne received $200.00 for fishing from his qualified 496 Charger boat. Timothy Oetting
attended his 1st JOE BASS tournament in his new
Charger 496 powered by a Mercury 225 XS purchased at
SportBoats USA. SportBoats USA paid entry and
membership as an added thank you for his purchase.
