Cold and Windy Day At Pomme to Kick Off Winter Division
Winds around 20-25 mph and temps just above freezing does not stop the determined anglers of the 2012 Winter Division. Water temps in the upper 40’s and low 50’s did not bother the fish. All boats but one had limits and the other one had 4 solid fish.
Larry Stoafer, Leavenworth, KS and Mark Justice, St. Joseph, MO, had a five fish limit that weighed 13.01lbs and a 3.27lbs Largemouth good enough for 1st Place and 2nd Big Bass. The team used jigs in 10-20 ft of water at bluff ends and channel swings to catch more than 20 keepers.

James Brown, Springfield, MO, sponsored by Joe Bass Team Trail and US Reels had a 3.74lbs Largemouth. This fish was caught on a megabass stick bait. This was the Big Bass of the tournament.
