WINTER DIVISION ENJOYS A WARM DAY AT TABLE ROCK
The weather was near 70 degrees on this 20th day of February, but the wind was blowing as if it was March. The anglers that decided to try a day on the water were not to unchallenged but most came back with limits of fish.
Wes Endicott and Derek Wright started out their 2011 season with Joe Bass the best way possible. They took advantage of the warm February day by throwing grubs and stick baits (Excalibur) to bring home a very good 5 fish limit that weighed 18.65lbs. Wes also brought in the Big Bass of the day that hit the scales at 6.50lbs. The team had their limit early in the day.
Brian Cunningham and Ronnie Lawson came in right behind the first place team with 5 fish that hit the scales at 17.79lbs. They also were using grubs and stick baits. Ronnie stated they caught fish on grubs early then switched to stick baits later in the day. Their kicker fish weighed 6.03 and it came on a stick bait in the last hour. 12-13 keepers were caught by the team during the day.
