A chilly start for the field of Joe Bass anglers at the Bull Shoals Division sponsored by WEST PLAINS MARINE. The temp was right at freezing at the take off but quickly warmed to near 50 degrees before the day ended. The bait of choice for the anglers appeared to be the A-rig and swim baits. Michael Cox, Theodosia, MO and Tommy Joe Skinner, Protem, MO, brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 20.82lbs. This earned the team the 1st place position. The team had a 5.23lbs kicker that earned them 2nd Big Bass.
Kelly Jones, Garrison, MO and Roger Satterfield, Oldfield, MO, put together a 5 fish limit that weighed in at 17.23lbs. They also had a 5.43lbs largemouth that earned the team the OZARK CHEVROLET BIG BASS OF THE DAY. Kelly supplied the 2015 Skeeter FX21 which also earned the team the highest finishing SKEETER award.
The 2017 reigning champions, Dustin and Eric Blevins, Harrison, AR, a 5 fish limit that earned them 3rd Place.
