Here are some of the most often asked questions regarding the Invitational.
My partner can’t make it to the Invitational. What choices do I have for a partner?
If a qualifying member has lost their partner for the Invitational I will allow your spouse or immediate family child or grandchild to attend irregardless of any prior tournament attendance. However those substitute individuals will not be eligible for any drawing prizes, including the boat or BASS attendance.
Can I use an alternate?
Alternates cannot be used. However with approval you would be allowed to team with another Invitational qualified angler if circumstances require it.
Do I have to attend the banquet?
No. But if you cannot attend and are going to fish the event you must pre-enter so that your team will be entered for a take off boat number.
Can I fish alone?
Yes
Will the highest Skeeter owner incentive apply?
Yes. At the conclusion of the 2 day tournament the highest finishing Skeeter owner will be awarded additional prize money. See this for more clarification.
How are boat numbers assigned?
They are drawn at random at the tournament pre-meeting. You must pre-enter if you cannot attend pre-meeting.
How does side pot apply?
Side pot is for each individual day, not overall.
When will the boat be drawn for?
At the conclusion of day 2. Each angler attending will have 1 chance at winning the boat.
What are the official practice times?
The Invitational lake will be off limits beginning at sunset Friday prior to event, except for competition.
Can guides be used?
Yes right up to sunset Friday prior to the event,
How are BASS Team Championship anglers chosen?
They will be chosen from the teams attending the Invitational.
Will there be a polygraph?
Yes.
