03/24/18 Pomme

Lake Pomme de terre absolutely, undisputedly offers some of the best bass fishing in Missouri. There were 51 teams fishing and 31 weighed limits. Stats for the tournament were 180 bass weighed totaling 516.52lb.

Breaking that down to individual teams Jonathan Pimental and Christopher Cross was most impressive with their 5 bass bag weighing 22.59lb anchored by the largest bass of the event at 7.64lb They report fishing jigs at depths of 2-6 ft on the main lake near Nemo. 12-15 keepers were caught and culled with their 1st limit by 8:30am. Christopher’s 1st Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass was caught by 9am on a Sukit jig. In addition Top Skeeter owner incentive goes to Jonathan for fishing from his 2012 Skeeter. Ardent reels, Sukit lures, and Trapper Tackle sponsor Jonathan and Christopher.

Reigning Division Champions Mike Rogers and Donnie Crist report fishing square bills and thumper spinnerbaits in the Lindey arm at depths of 2-6 ft for their 5 bass limit weighing 22.43lb. They also report culling through 25-30 keepers.

Paul Marsala and DeWayne Weeks take 3rd fishing Chompers jigs on the main lake reporting only 5 bites on the day. Their limit was anchored by Dewayne’s 7.59lber. Sponsored by SportBoats USA, Skeeter, and Joe Bass Team Trail.

“Attending team know there was a ruckus between the concessionaire and anglers at the launch ramp. I have addressed the issue with the Corps of Engineers. They will be investigating the issue and notify me at weeks end or first of next week on their findings. For now the launch ramp will remain The Harbor. Should things change I will post it on this website and Facebook.” bob<><
