Finally a warm day in the Ozarks! 42 antique angler teams showed up to fish on this beautiful mid week event.
Rusty Darnell and Greg Blair take 1st with 5 bass weighing 15.33lbs anchored by the 1st Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass of 5.59lb. Top Skeeter owner was also won. Details were vague as Rusty’s excitement at cutting a check left him speechless? However Greg reports fishing a rigs shallow in the 55 degree water of the James river. Sponsors include SportBoats USA, Skeeter and Yamaha.
Stacy King and Mike Roller take 2nd culling through 12 keepers for their final five weighing 14.51lbs using a rigs, Wiggle Warts and swimming grubs fishing in Long Creek. Sponsors include Bass Pro Shops, Gamakatsu, Nitro, and Rite Hite Industries.
Third place went to Eric Hammond and Mick Hammond this father and son duo threw Xperienced Big Bass rig in the White river for their final five weighing 14.45lbs.
The next Antique tournament will be May 9th taking out of Ahoy’s at 630am.
