50 boats entered the mid week Joe Bass Antique tournament. The tournament day started with rainy conditions at take off but quickly developed into a beautiful Ozarks day. Out of the 50 teams 39 had limits.
Kelly Jones & Roger Satterfield weighed 20.06 lbs of Table Rock largemouth to narrowly take 1st. They report flipping jigs shallow in the dam area. In addition to their 1st place win they also win the Joe Bass Skeeter money fishing from Rogers 2022 ZXR 21.
Jacob Wade & Robbie Dodson weighed in 20.01 lbs reportedly fishing 7 ” Extreme glide baits in the Aunts Creek area.
James Brown & John Campbell take 3rd with their bag of 17.99lbs. They report making the long run to Long Creek flipping soft plastis and Johns homemade jigs at flooded cover in 2-4 ft. Johns 5.36 took home 2nd NAPA Big Bass.
Greg Snider & Tim Lane take 1st NAPA Big Bass honors with Gregs 5.59lb bass. He reports catching the fish on a jig in shallow cover in the James river arm.
The next Antique division tournament will launch from Ahoys May 29 at 6 am.
