Thank you for your patience as the Joe Bass Team Trail points calibration program made its rounds between Bob’s Table Rock, Rusty’s Stockton, and Timmy’s Mark Twain all held this past weekend.
After several days of rain, the sun broke out and pushed temps to near 80. Stockton lake level pushed the water well into the bushes. While many teams struggled, others figured out that the bss had moved to the front edge of bushes in 6-10 ft. of water. Jigs, soft plastics and even carolina rigs worked to get teams into the money.
Sam Morton, Easton, KS and Dennis Edwards, Leavenworth, KS sponsored by Ozawkie Boats and Mondo tackle fished in that 6-10ft range to find 5 fish that weighed 19.47lbs. They also had the OZARK CHEVROLET BIG BASS OF THE DAY that weighed 6.37lbs.
Glenn Harrison and Scott Tassi, Alma, KS, sponsored by Albers Marine, Denali Rods, Lowrance, Mercury, Nitro and Extraction Lures, brought in 5 fish for 12.91lbs.
Terry Bradley ,Bolivar, MO and Scott Hill, Fair Grove, MO, sponsored by Lews, Chompers, Mercury and Whites Marine, caught a 5 fish limit that weighed 10.52lbs using their Chomper jigs.
The team of Bill Virden and Bill Stokes, Springfield, MO caught one fish all day but it was the right one. It weighed 6.05lbs. They got the last payout spot and 2nd Big Bass. They were also fishing out of Bill’s 2017 ZX225 Skeeter that earned the team the $1000 dollar Joe Bass Skeeter Money
