A hot summer day with lots of sunshine sent the anglers from Joe Bass to look allover the lake for their limits. They also had to dig into their bag of tricks. The anglers used drop shots, spoons, jigs and many more baits to put together the limits that it the scale.
Stacy King, Reeds Springs, MO and Mike Roller, Purdy, MO, used a mixed bag of tricks to bring in a 5 fish limit that weighed 14.12lbs. The team is sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Nitro, Mercury, Gamakatsu and Rite Hite Industries.
The brother team of Cody Millican and Dakota Millican, both of Highlandville, MO, fished mid-lake to bring in a 5 fish limit that weighed 13.36llbs. The team’s bag held a 5.43lb kicker largemouth. This earned the team the OZARK CHEVROLET BIG BASS of the DAY.
Aaron Hodge and James Bailey, both of Harrison, AR, used mainly jigs for the 5 fish limit that weighed 13.15lbs. The team earned 3rd Place with this sack of fish.
Ed Young fished out of his 2018 FX21 Skeeter. He brought in a 5 fish limit that weighed 12.98lbs. Ed placed 4th and was the highest finishing team in a Skeeter. Ed was the recipient of the Sport Boats USA Joe Bass highest finishing Skeeter award.
