08/03/24 Table Rock

An oppressive heat way had settled over the Ozarks in the days leading up to the August Table Rock Division tournament, but with the proper preparations, anglers were confident they could catch a few fish, perhaps even enough to find their names at the top of the Window World Leaderboard.  Others might not have been as optimistic, but still pushed through as every fish counts towards valuable qualifying points for the Joe Bass Invitational to be held next fall.

Kason Henderson and Joe Daughtery beat the heat and brought in a tournament winning 16.92 pounds.  They shared their Chompers key to success was dragging a big worm along deep creek channels.  Having a kicker is typically needed to win an event.  Kason and Joe took that to the max as they boated the NAPA  big bass of the day, a lunker 5.80 largemouth.

Jeff Epley and Kelly Greer were close behind with a 16.24 pound bag.  They scattered a squarebill bite over the course of the day to catch their fish.  Jeff and Kelly added to their take home money as they fished from Kelly’s new 2024 Skeeter boat which garnered them Top Skeeter honors.

Cole Findley and Jeff Barrickman rounded out the top three.  Their five fish limit pushed the scales to 16.07 pounds.  They complimented an early topwater bite by working brushpiles with a jig.

Special thanks to Chompers, Window World , NAPA , Taylor Grubaugh Chevrolet, Buick & GMC  and Skeeter Boats  for another fantastic tournament!
