Chris Macy & Tim Lawyer fished jigs and worms at depths of 20 ft covering numerous areas on Stockton. Their limit was anchored by the tournaments second big bass weighing 6.06lbs. Tim reports the fish fell to a big worm.
Scott Clift and Ashley Medley report virtually the same bite as 1st fishing jigs and worms on known deep brush piles. Their limit weighed 15.95lbs.
Sponsored by Joe Bass Team Trail and Southwinds Motel Jeff Bear and Quenton Dale Bear weigh in 5 bass totaling 16.57lbs but were penalitzed 1 lb for 2 dead fish resulting in a third place finish. Their limit included the Ozark Chevrolet 1st Big Bass caught by Jeff on a shaky head with Mag trick worm in 6ft of water on the Big Sac side.
Our next and final Mitchem Tire Stockton tournament of the 2018 season will be held September 9, 2018 at Old State Park from 7AM-3PM.
NOTE: The last tournament in any of our divisions can be fished without any membership fees. This is your opportunity to come see Joe Bass Team Trail in action. With that said no incentive’s will be paid to non-members.
