The final Tackle HD Pomme event sponsored by TNT Quick Shop proved a variety of patterns to be working throughout the lake. Some guys opted to fish deep in order to stand in the check line, while others found enough quality bites shallow to stand at the top of the pack.
Taking 1st place was the team of Kelly Jones and Roger Satterfield, being no strangers to the shallow water, Kelly and Roger worked square bills and jigs around wood in the upper Lindley arm to bring in 20.04 lbs.
2nd place team Troy Nogosek and Jeremy Fiedler weighed in 19.59 lbs. They also fished shallow using Tackle HD buzz baits along main lake points capitalizing on the morning bite.
3rd place finishers Todd Choate and Kent Whitaker weighed in 19.57 lbs. They chose to stick to a deeper pattern using Chompers jigs, finding only 5 keeper bites throughout the day. Anchoring their limit was the Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass award of 6.61 lbs.
