Heavy rains and thunderstorms developed in the early afternoon but the anglers trudged through weighing in 35 limits out of 52 teams. Once again an impressive showing for Pomme de terre lake.
Wesley Myers and Brock Reinkemeyer bested the field with 5 bass weighing 18lbs. Their limit was anchored by the 2nd Big Bass of the tournament. They report fishing football jigs covering both arms at depths of 10-20 ft.
Rick Fishback and Denny Carver report covering a lot of water traveling back and forth in both arms using a Crank Wraps White crappie wrapped Jenko crankbait. Their limit weighed 17.77lbs.
Local guide Greg Becker and partner Don Thrall take 3rd fishing e factor football jigs in 15ft of water.
Fisher Mayfield weighed in the Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass weighing 5.57lbs.
