James Brown & John Campbell win the final Antique tournament for 2023. James and John report catching numerous keepers throughout the day. Their first limit was caught at depths of 18-25 feet on a new Chompers proto type bait the Possum Tail. Their 2 largest bass were caught shallow on jigs. In addition to their 1st place winnings they also take Top Skeeter owner fishing from James 2020 FXR20
Danny Waite & Brad Martin made the long run to the dam area and caught their fish shallow by flippin and throwing crankbaits. Brad Martin was the Rapala pro pack winner.
Third place goes to Chad Morgenthaler & Dave Mansue they report catching their first limit on drop shot then switching to deep diving crankbaits and spoons in the James River. A change that paid off with the tournament largest NAPA big bass weighing 4.79lbs.
