The final 2020 tournament on Pomme was a thriller for the Division Champions race. The team winning Division Champions had no idea they were in contention, however with the throw out they rocketed to 1st Place in the Whites Marine Center Pomme division. More about that later.
The lake was amped and the weather was made for fishing. Pomme showed it’s colors with 31 limits weighed in.
Taking top honors was Rick Fishback and Denny Carver they weighed in 5 bass totaling 18.28lbs. They report fishing square bills wrapped with the CrankWraps White crappie pattern and Chompers jigs at depths of 2 to 6 feet in both arms of the lake.
David Mulkey fished with alternate Big Stick Charlie Ray. Their 5 bass limit was anchored by Davids 5.46lb 1st Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass. Chompers jigs and Chompers twin tails were used to catch the 18.17lb limit. They report traveling both arms of the lake fishing at depths primarily 10-20 feet culling through 8 keepers.
David Epema and Dan Bowman take 3rd with 14.50lbs anchored by Dan’s 5.31lb bass. Catching that bass along with their 3rd Place finish rocketed them into 1st Place overall in the points race. Congratulations to Dave and Dan the 2020 Whites Marine Center Division Champions. If that wasn’t enough they win the Top Skeeter bonus for fishing from Dave’s 2014 Skeeter along with 2nd Big Bass.
