09/13/25 Table Rock

A brief respite from the summer heat was replaced by an unseasonal blast of hot temperatures, providing a stifling background for the teams that launched from Port of Kimberling. With this being the season finale of the Blackbeard Marine Table Rock Division, teams were anxious to see their names atop the Window World  leaderboard. In addition, every fish weighed provided qualifying points for the Invitational on Truman Lake out of Bucksaw Marina and Resort next month.

Eric and Gavin White finished the season on a top by sealing a victory. Eric and Gavin battled the heat and pleasure boaters to bring in the winning stringer that weighed 15.87 pounds. They used the Impel Union big bass of the event, a 4.59 kicker, to bolster their limit. Team White covered a ton of water with a Whopper Plopper, their Blackbeard Marine key for success, to catch their bass.

Jeff Epley didn’t need any help as he wrangled the runner-up spot fishing by himself. Jeff dropped 14.43 pounds of fish on the scales. Similar to the winners, Jeff used a topwater bite to accumulate his 2nd place weight. He also landed Top Skeeter honors as he fished from his 2024 FXR21 Blackbeard Marine Skeeter.

Roger and Cory Cook rounded out the top three by bringing in a tournament limit of bass that locked in at 14.27 pounds. True to the other top finishers, Team Cook leaned on a topwater bite but also mixed in a few critical bites with a jig. Roger and Cory enjoy the support of BassCat Boats.

Thank you Taylor Grubaugh Chevrolet, Buick & GMC for sponsoring the release boat!
