11/22/25 Winter

The 2026 Joe Bass Team Trail Table Rock division, sponsored by Blackbeard Marine, got off to a quick start as 47 teams brought nearly 400 pounds of bass to the inaugural weigh-in. Kicker fish came at a premium, as it took over 14 pounds to find your name near the top of the  Window World  leaderboard. However, with the kick off a new season, teams also pushed hard as every fish weighed provides qualifying points for the Invitational on Truman Lake out of Bucksaw Resort & Marina next fall.

Cody Ellison and Landon Edwards started the 2026 season off with another win. They mixed a jig and minnow combination with a shad colored crankbait to weigh 16.71 pounds. Landon shared their Blackbeard Marine key for success was keying on shad schools and weeding through a ton of fish to get to their final weight. They estimated they boated nearly 5 dozen keepers on an all day bite. Landon and Cody bolstered their take home funds by taking Top Skeeter honors as they fished from Landon’s 2013 ZX21 Skeeter.

Jacob Wade and Nick Lawler wrangled the runner-up spot with a 16.50 pound bag. They pivoted from the scopin’ approach and leaned on a jig fished on a combination of shallow and deep locations, with points being the focus. Jacob and Nick also caught a lot of fish, noting they worked through 15 keepers to get to their final weight.

Terry Hutchison and Jason Coley rounded out the top three. They dropped 15.69 pounds on the scales. They relied on FFS and a minnow rig to catch 30-40 keepers throughout the day. Terry and Jason used the Wilson Truck Sales big bass of the event, a stout 5.19 kicker, to anchor their stringer.

Thank you Taylor Grubaugh Chevrolet, Buick & GMC for sponsoring the release boat!
