Even with the return of cold weather 41 teams turned out for the 2017 Chompers Division Table Rock kick off.
Besting the field with their limit of 5 bass weighing 16.19lbs anchored by the tournaments largest bass of 6.82lbs Joe & Larry Bates take 1st Place and the Ozark Chevrolet 1st Place Big Bass. They report fishing drop shot worms in dock stalls situated over 60 ft of water in the dam area with their bites coming at depths of 20-30 ft. Joe also was the highest finishing Skeeter owner fishing from his 2007 ZX190 winning an additional $250.00 compliments of the Sport Boats USA owner incentive. Sponsors include Ardent and UDI Consulting.
Second place goes to Mike & Mark Fann fishing in the James river with stickbaits and crankbaits. Their 5 bass limit weighed 15.56lbs. Sponsors include Luck E Strike, Mercury, Outdoor Experienced and Pro Guide Batteries.
Third Place along with 2nd Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass goes to Bob Gordy and Michael Heine with their 4 bass weighing 14.96lbs. They report fishing in the James with Chompers jigs, and square bills. Sponsors include Ozarks Chevrolet and Chompers.

Joe Bass Team Trail returns to Table Rock on March 11 taking off from Ahoys at 7am. The NEW Antique Division kicks off on Table Rock March 29th.
