A cool start on a lake that was several feet up made for a tough challenge for the JOE BASS anglers. The teams had no issues finding brush in the water just issues with finding the big sows. Slow moving bottom bouncing baits were the key for all teams to find their fish. Out of 47 boats, 22 teams had limits.
Glenn Harrison and Scott Tassi, both of Arma, KS, sponsored by Albers Marine, Inc., Nitro and Mercury, put together a 5 fish limit that weighed 14.17lbs, to take home a healthy check for first place.
Tom Amershek, Arma, KS, and Paden Shaffer, Franklin, KS, had a 5 fish limit that weighed 12.96lbs to earn second place. They also had a 4.24lbs largemouth to earn the Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass of the Day.
Last years Stockton Division Champions, Chris Macy, Diamond, MO and Tim Lawyer, LaRussell, MO, finished out the top 3 teams with a bag that weighed 11.59lbs.
