Anglers around the Table Rock area came out to brave the high temps and the multitude of boats to compete at the second Chompers Table Rock division tournament of 2020. The team of Aaron Hodge and James Bailey, Harrison, AR, put together a string of fish that weighed 20.06lbs. The team fished jigs all day to take home first place. They caught a 5.10lbs Largemouth to take home the OZARK CHEVROLET Big Bass of the Day.
Jared Essary, Cape Fair, MO and Nick Hass, Aurora, MO, used a variety of soft plastics to bring in a bag of fish that weighed 17.71lbs. They stated the bite was in the bushes for them.
The third place team of Jay Carden, Seligman, MO and Dustin Lowe, Cassville, MO, used jigs and topwater all day to bring a bag that weighed 15.68lbs. Jay was fishing out of his 2014 ZX20 Skeeter to take home the top finishing SKEETER Award.
