This event is the 4th of 6 Antiques Division tournaments scheduled for the 2018 season. 32 antique angler teams showed up to fish. Antique angler teams must have one angler in the boats 55 years of age or older.
Jerry Roark reports fishing worms and jigs at depths of 25-30 ft in the White river for his 1st place stringer weighing 17.09lbs anchored with the tournaments 2nd Big Bass.
Terry Thomas and Sam Smith report fishing jigs and swimbaits at depths of 20-25 ft in the James river arm. Their 5 bass limit was anchored by Terrys 4.90lb caught early on a Whopper Plopper in 2 ft of water which was the tournaments Ozark Chevrolet Big Bass.
Robert and Robbie Dodson take third with their 5 bass limit weighing 13.90lbs caught in the Long Creek arm with shallow crankbaits.
SportBoats USA Skeeter boats Incentive goes to Chester Miles fishing from his 2017 Skeeter.
The next Antique tournament will be August 15th taking out of Ahoy’s at 6am.
